All quiet on the home front
Everything has been a bit quiet over summer, but we finished with some good, clean fun. On 30th June we held one of our regular clean up days, to look after the hut and the grounds around it. Afterwards we had a bring-and-share BBQ and played some games in the newly-mown field.
The following weekend in July, two leaders decided that the promised shelves should finally be fitted. Constructed out of board, handily sawn to size by our friendly DIY shop, they will really help keep our camping equipment in order.
In August some wildlife was spotted outside the hut. Can you tell what it is? Sorry for the blurry photo.
Now we are starting term this week. Cubs are beginning this Wednesday 3rd September and Scouts on Friday.
